Suite for guitar and string orchestra was composed in 1989 for Darko Petrinjak, who premiered it with the Croatian Chamber Orchestra and conductor Pavle Dešpalj at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb on October 22, 1991. It was subsequently recorded with the string section of the Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Pavle Dešpalj, and released on CD (MBZ-HRT-HDS, Ars Croatica).
