Papandopulo, Boris: Suite for violoncello and guitar

Suite for violoncello and guitar was written in 1987 for the distinguished Croatian cellist Valter Dešpalj, who concertized and recorded for radio, LPs and CDs in duets with guitarists (Petrinjak, Bogdanović, Nardelli Jr. and Römer) for nearly twenty years (from 1975 until 1994). However, the work was premiered by Luka Šulić and Petrit Çeku on 1st of August 2009 in the Rector’s Palace Atrium at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. For that occasion Dešpalj revised the score and that version is now in his personal archive. This published edition is based on composer’s original text.
