Božičević composes a personal form compatible to the music content – regardless of the instruments – therefore; nothing deforms the unity and everything is subjected to the control of proportion, bearing in mind the transparency of music texture as one of the important characteristics of his expression.

Božičević's music material is often based on minimalistic motion and repetitive elements, but a movement as a whole owes its expressivity to the surrounding events of this line of motion that can seemingly be the most noticeable; the meaning emerges from the subtle play of relations and timbres of instruments joining in, which creates a certain relaxed beauty of the tone event which undoubtedly embodies author's poetic music impression. ...
