The Zvjezdice Girls’ Choir | Zdravko Šljivac, conductort
The Zvjezdice Girls’ Choir was founded in 1985. As Zvjezdice Singing Studio, it forms part of the Youth Music Centre in Zagreb. The choir is made up of outstanding students from Zagreb primary and secondary schools. During its two decades of activity, the choir has developed an intensive collaboration with the best-known Croatian ensembles, as well as with many conductors, both Croatian and foreign. Works by leading Croatian composers have been dedicated to it, most notably The Four Seasons by Davorin Kempf and Orion, Venus, Andromeda by Milko Kelemen.
